Job Overview
This position assists in supporting the Airport’s overall diversity policy, program direction and implementation.
What you will be doing:
• Manages the coordination and implementation of all DE&I events by providing logistical support, speaker selection and fee negotiation, catering, audio/visual support, and any other necessary support for DFW Employee Resource Groups and related functions.
• Coordinates all initiatives to support and counsel Employee Resource Groups with cultural events and establishes relationships with external Diversity community.
• Facilitates coordination and works with Internal Communications, the Diversity Leadership Council, ERGs and other DFW Departments to ensure proper event planning and execution.
• Develops and makes independent decisions regarding the content of the DE&I , Diversity Leadership Council and Employee Resource Group intranet sites on Connected Online with current rosters, activities and other information related to respective Employee Resource Groups including photos and articles.
• Analyzes and reconciles the Diversity budget and processes payments for Diversity related functions.
What you need:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology, industrial relations, business, communications, or related field.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience with an emphasis on event planning.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
• Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
