Job Overview

It is a multi-faceted strategy that directly impacts performance, recruitment, retention, customer relations and community involvement.¿This position would work cross functionally with other departments and community stakeholders in the development, management, and implementation of our company wide workforce diversity and inclusion programs and overall DEI strategy.

What you will be doing:

  • Consults with HR management team to create a work environment and culture that reflects the cultural diversity of the Metroplex that enables DFW to advance the attraction, engagement, development, and retention of a diverse workforce.
  • Facilitates and manages the implementation of diversity and inclusion strategies and goals within the Airport and provides advice, oversight, and support as is necessary for successful implementation of all diversity, equity and inclusion programs and policies.
  • Directs and develops, in coordination with Human Resources, the Airport’s diversity, equity and inclusion training programs.
  • Implements and monitors programs/procedures in the areas of workforce diversity and ensures plans are communicated effectively to all employees.
  • Partners with and consults Employee Resource Groups, network groups, cultural events, and mentoring programs.
  • Implements and manages policies and programs to enhance the Airport’s work environment to be inclusive of all employees.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology, industrial relations, business or related field.
  • Five (5) years of senior-level experience with a strong focus in developing, managing and implementing company-wide workforce diversity and inclusion programs.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.

What we desire:

  • Master’s degree in business, public administration, human resources management or a related field.
  • PHR/SPHR Certification.
  • Certifications in Diversity and inclusion Management.
  • Ability to assess the ERG programs and evolve those programs.
  • Knowledge of the research, theory and practice of the impact of strategic diversity and inclusion and inclusion programs, work life and culture within organizations.
