Job Overview
The Assistant Vice President of Total Rewards and Human Resources Operations is a key leader at the airport responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and execution of all facets of Total Rewards (benefits, compensation, retirement, and wellness programs) that enrich the employee experience and differentiates the Airport from other organizations. You will stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the industry and make changes that ensures DFW is able to attract and retain the best talent. You will analyze the outcomes and effectiveness of program to ensure we are providing the best services to employees in the most effective manner.
What you will be doing:
- Leading and developing the total rewards and records management teams to provide learning and development opportunities to those who wish to grow their career at the airport.
- Provide design, leadership and planning of Total Reward Strategy and its many components for DFW Airport.
- Direct internal and outsourced administration of DFW Airport’s benefits programs for Disability, Medical, Dental, FSA & Life/AD&D insurance, and Retirement.
- Help develop and execute an integrated benefits and wellness strategy to increase the health of employees, leading to lower medical costs.
- Direct administration of the Compensation program including salary and merit administration, market studies, job evaluation, reclassifications and short-term incentive plan administration
- Direct the development and publication of all HR-related documents related to Total Rewards, including policies, forms, systems, procedures, handbooks, brochures, pamphlets, and employee communications
- Analyzing internal and vendor data to make evidence based decisions on outcomes of program design changes.
- Be a strategic partner and advisor to the VP Human Resources for all aspects of Total Rewards.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business and/or related field.
- Five (5) years of senior-level experience with a strong focus in developing, managing and implementing company-wide Total Reward programs.
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
What we desire:
- Master’s degree in business or public administration, human resources management, or a related field.
- Certification in compensation and or benefits through a recognized organization such as World at Work, Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (CEBS) or Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
- Experience integrating health and wellness program with medical benefits program. Experience managing an on-site clinic.
- A proven thought leader in the Total Rewards space with a demonstrated history of taking ideas to execution in a diverse organization with multiple key stakeholders.
- The intellectual horsepower to quickly learn the unique dynamics of the airport’s diverse workforce, and ability to engage and interact with all employees in a manner that ensures they feel heard and respected.
