Job Overview  

As a TBU Project Coordinator, you will protect the Guests’ Journey & preserve the operational integrity of TBU operations during construction. This includes representing the Guest & TBU OPs in any project on Board property that impacts our operational domain. You will bring the TBU-Guest presence to planning discussions, design meetings & plan reviews, construction meetings & in the field during significant activities, & with life-cycle maintenance & urgent repair initiatives.  

You will develop a platform to manage the Landside Construction Moratorium/Blackout policy & associated processes. You will facilitate the blackout waiver submittal process & collaborate with DFW Stakeholders regularly in this capacity. You will help develop and support the TBU Team’s ability to care for the Guest & together we will directly contribute to the airport’s continued growth as a steward of the Guests’ Journey & protecting the operational integrity of the Landside from control plazas all the way to terminal doors & Airside with our airfield ops. You’ll have the opportunity and rewarding challenge to work at one of the largest, busiest airports in the nation, interacting with travelers & transportation partners from all over the world. 

What you will be doing: 

  • To protect the Guest, you will mitigate the impacts that the projects incur & doing this effectively will require strong relationships with the many other departments & operational partners across the DFW organization. 

  • To mitigate the impacts & support the success of the project, you will leverage your planning/design/construction expertise in order to evaluate & provide input. 

  • You will be representing & explaining TBU Guest needs to project teams, but you will also be responsible for communicating those project impacts to TBU. 

  • You will be a subject-matter expert for TBU strategic initiatives to support their definition, development & implementation. 

  • To create the Blackout platform, you will leverage SharePoint for creation & deployment. 

  • In this role you will be attending a significant number of meetings, you will be out in the field numerous times a day, you will participate in a robust on-boarding process with TBU sections in order to learn & stay current with the TBU Guest standards, practices, operations, etc. 

What you need:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, operations management, communications, business or public administration, or a related field. 

  • Three (3) years relevant experience in airport operations, operations center management and/or project coordination/management. 

  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above. 

  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
