Job Overview

As the Assistant Vice President of Transportation, you will partner with the Parking Business Group and the Assistant Vice President Parking Business Group to insure cohesive organizational development, valued knowledge sharing, positive business partnership and proactive development of business services, benefits, and features.  Under general direction of the Vice President of the Transportation Business Unit you will oversee all project management, bussing and curbside operations

 

What you will be doing:

  • Develop capital and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) budgets, funding requests, and justifications; manage capital and O&M spending, related to bussing operations (remote and contract bussing).
  • Collect, analyze, and report performance data; make benchmark comparisons of parking services, benefits and features with comparison organizations and industry standards; recommend staffing levels, propose capital spending projects; make recommendations to improve customer service and/or control costs.
  • Develop and coordinate long and short-term business plans for all bussing and curbside operations
  • Responsible for directing the preparation of analyses of volume trends, forecasts, market share, and customer satisfaction at the Airport and in the industry.
  • Oversee the research of relevant markets and financial trends to forecast future business activity and trends and subsequently develops recommendations for senior management.
  • Oversee the development, implementation and management of a comprehensive and holistic employee engagement and business plan for maximizing talent/people development.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in customer service/point of service including experience in the parking industry.
  •  Five (5) years of experience of staff management or supervisory experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
