Job Overview:

Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, IT Project, and Program Management, responsible for the development and implementation of the DFW digital transformation program to introduce technology improvements to create new or modify existing business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements. Drives digital initiatives vital to improving the quality, performance, and effectiveness of systems and processes across all divisions of the airport. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with the Digital Strategy Workgroup to implement the DFW Digital Vision
  • Familiarization with DFW Digital Strategy to enable a Digital Culture, Smart Business Ecosystem, Simple and Frictionless Travel, and Proactive Internal Operations.
  • Develop, update, and administer policies, procedures and guidelines governing the management and administration of projects and programs.
  • Work closely with Airport Board staff, vendors, consultants, and outside agencies to ensure all work within the program addresses goals and performance objectives and complies with Airport Board policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates the development of ITS strategic business plans with the Project Management Office using input from the Business Technology Partners (BTPs) and their respective Business Units.
  • Develop, maintain, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and department objectives.
  • Work closely with the CIO and leadership team to prioritize projects based on the benefit to the organization and value for various IT investment scenarios considering the optimization of investment and resource utilization.
  • Facilitates ongoing portfolio management reviews with leadership team and works with BTPs to leverage existing portfolio for future projects.
  • Develops and conducts training sessions with both internal staff and consultant staff on current policies, procedures, and guidelines impacted by digital transformation.
  • Understand and interpret quality standards and/or methodologies to develop metrics and specifications for all airport and airfield systems.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, project management, organizational strategy, computer science, IT, or related field
  • Six (6) years of experience in program / project management, including experience working with and coordinating teams (technical and non-technical) cross functionally.
  • Demonstrated experience defining digital program requirements and leading and managing a digital transformation program using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid class C driver’s license. 

What we desire:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles and techniques
  • Knowledge of Value Steam Mapping and flow charting
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Project Management Certification (PMP)
  • Three (3) years of program/project management experience in a senior leadership role
