Job Overview

Under general direction of the Assistant Vice President, Accounting/Controller, directs the billing and collections operation and parking customer service call center. Leads the development and implementation of new processes and systems. Work involves extensive contact and coordination with Airport staff, auditors, customers, and other outside agencies. Exercises initiative, judgment, and discretion in the resolution of complex customer and accounting problems.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborates with Concessions, Commercial Development, Airline Real Estate, and other departments, to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of approximately $750 million of customer billing, payment applications, and settlements.
  • Works closely with Parking, Global Strategy, Marketing, IT, and Executive teams to improve the parking customer experience.
  • Plans and participates in the preparation of the Annual Report; Rates, Fees, and Charges; Forecast; Schedule of Charges; Settlement processes, and the annual external audit.
  • Formulates recommendations to develop new automated financial systems; assists in system implementation, staff training and manual documentation.
  • Oversees the collection of Accounts Receivable activity and participate in resolutions. Manages the bad debt allowance including bankruptcies.
  • Collaborates with various departments and teams to oversee and manage, both directly and indirectly a team ranging 25 individuals.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, auditing, finance, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) plus years of finance and/or revenue management, including customer service, billing, and collections.
  • Three (3) plus years of supervisory experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.

What we desire:

  • Experience with billing, collections, and other financial systems.
  • Customer Service and Call Center Management.
  • Knowledge of government fund accounting principles.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License.
