Job Overview

Under the general direction of the ITS AACS Team Leader and/or Sr ITS Control Systems Manager. The individual will be responsible for Airport Campus Security Surveillance Systems (ACSSS) system maintenance and Automated Access Control Systems, coordination, monitoring, and maintenance. The ACSSS and AACS system maintenance and system administration and all field components of the systems will be part of the individual's responsibilities.  The individual will also assist in coordination of system projects. 


What you will be doing:

  • Performs technical support for components of the ACSSS.
  • Perform system test, diagnostic, analysis, and repairs.
  • Perform system preventative maintenance and cleaning.
  • Assists with system manufacturers and diagnosis and Level 3 Support.
  • Assist in coordination of DFW Airport projects related to the ACSSS.
  • Assist with reviews of plans and specifications for ACSSS related projects.
  • Responds to inquiries from Airport staff, tenants, airline management and contractors to for system user support.


What you need:

  • Completion of High School curriculum or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of AACS and CCTV or security system support experience.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of CCTV systems design and implementation, including hardware, software, communications standards, and documentation.
  • Qognify/Nice Systems Experience
  • Kaplogics experience
  • American Dynamics experience
  • Zenitel experience
  • Lenel OnGuard and Picture-Perfect experience
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the organization.


Special Requirement:

  • This is a designated safety sensitive position as defined in DFW Airport's Drug and Alcohol Administrative Policy and Procedure. Applicants selected for this position will be required to pass a drug screening test prior to employment and to submit to drug screening on a random basis during the length of their employment in the safety sensitive position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FBI Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance.
