Job Overview
As the Sr. Analyst, Air Service Development and Analytics, you will perform statistical and financial analyses as well as conduct route forecasts to support the strategic plan for market development. You will also manage and maintain data from a variety of industry sources to analyze and produce airline business cases, ad hoc reports, and periodic management presentations. Under general direction of the Senior Manager Airline Business Development, take a leadership role in the execution of strategic and tactical plans to attract all airlines to this market and to increase flights in domestic and international markets.

- Develop compelling, thoroughly researched business cases to also be professionally presented to airline executives, including forecast results when appropriate.
- Lead in the identification of under-served and emerging markets and recommend strategies for advancing DFW's market position.
- Build passenger and revenue forecasts for prospective routes.
- Create thorough analysis for short- and long- term planning around airport infrastructure needs to support future airline growth.
- Build business intelligent tools to monitor traffic and performance metrics on a regular basis and recommend action plans to address any service gaps and support business decisions.
- Lead efforts to compile trade statistics, airport data and comparative research findings versus other MSAs into narrative and graphic reports for presentation to airline executives.
- Employ primary and secondary research in support of the narrative for airline business development.
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance/economics, marketing, aviation management or quantitative field.
- Three (3) years of experience in network/route planning, scheduling, revenue management, strategic planning, market research, or related field in the aviation industry.
- Ability to travel occasionally domestically and internationally.
- Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
Desirable:
- Master's of Business Administration, Aviation Management or related field.
- Experience with a major airport or airline.
- Extensive experience in Tableau, Diio Mi, SQL data query, QSI modeling and forecasting
- Ability to speak a language in addition to English.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to executive and Sr leadership, both in writing and orally.
