Qualifications

Job Overview:

Under general direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, assists the Talent Acquisition section of the Human Resources department by providing administrative support in all stages of the recruitment process.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Schedules and administers various pre-employment tests such as office automation, customer service aptitude, and pre-employment physicals and drug tests.
  • Closes vacancies and application files in HRIS System updates application status in database and generates various applicant data reports as requested.
  • Compiles applicant background data and sends information to outside agency for background verifications (criminal background, motor vehicle, employment and academic).
  • Reviews preliminary results from background verifications and pre-employment tests for discrepancies and forwards information to Talent Acquisition Manager for further evaluation, if needed.
  • Assists in the coordination of and preparation for job fairs; represents the Airport at job fairs by talking with applicants and answering questions, communicating employment opportunities, and providing instructions on how to apply for positions.
  • Processes travel arrangements including the arranging and confirmation of flights, hotels, rental cars, etc. for out-of-town candidates during the interview process
  • Assists and supports New Employee Orientation and coordinates with new hires to ensure all information is received prior to the employee's start date.
  • Collects and verifies new hire paperwork for accuracy and timely submission. Completes I-9 documentation for new hires.

 

What you need:

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in business or public administration, human resources or related field.
  • Experience working in a Human Resources Department
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
  • Skill in communicating with others both verbally and in writing at all levels within and outside of the organization.
