Qualifications

Job Overview:

Under general direction of the Grants/PFC Manager, assists with the administration of all Federal and State grants and passenger facility charges. Responsible for completion of Grants and Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) applications according to FAA rules and regulations and ensures compliance with all rules and regulations; ensure prompt and correct drawdown of federal funds. Develops internal controls and systems to ensure that other departments promptly comply with all federal processes as it relates to federal and state funded projects.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Prepares documents related to the Grant/PFC application processes for eligible projects and monitors the processes for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with federal laws, regulations, and advisory circulars.
  • Reviews project, contract, and other supporting Grant and PFC-related data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with grantor agency and internal requirements.
  • Develops and maintains schedules for project reports, requests for funds, and other submittal requirements; ensures that schedule deadlines are met for submittals to and responses from grantor agencies and for periodic reports to management.
  • Develops and maintains administration and compliance files and other record keeping systems on Grant and PFC projects and contracts.
  • Prepares and submits direct costs related to Grant/PFC for reimbursement.
  • Prepares annual audit work papers related to the Grant/PFC program, assists internal and external auditors during the annual Grants/PFC audit required by the Single Audit Act of 1984
  • Research funding data for the five-year capital development program, reviews development program projects for eligibility, and recommends funding strategy for the development program, as they relate to Grant/PFC funding.
  • Under direction of the Grants/PFC Manager assists with the implementation of program development, design, proposal development and review of Grant/PFC applications.
