Job Overview:
Under the regular direction of the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, performs responsible work in relation to the Board's recruitment, applicant processing and testing of non-professional staff. Assist in developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent from universities and colleges. This role involves building strong relationships with academic institutions, students, and faculty to identify, engage, and recruit high-potential candidates for internships and entry-level positions at the airport.
What you will be doing:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, student organizations, and career services departments to promote DFW Airport as an employer of choice.
- Develop and execute comprehensive campus recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for internships, entry-level positions, and other early career opportunities
- Screens nonprofessional (hourly) staff applications and resumes; may conduct phone screen interviews; refers best-suited applicants for department interviews.
- Processes applicant and employee data using an Applicant Tracking System and other HR software tools in a timely manner. Ensures documentation is complete and accurate.
- Ensures that staffing and selection practices comply with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Monitors affirmative action goals, utilization, and diversity objectives to ensure that strategies are deployed to meet and or exceed the Board's goals in these areas.
- Assisting with research of new and pending legislation and laws affecting Board recruiting and selection programs.
- Attends job fairs, College Career Fairs, Professional Association Meetings, Social and Community Events, and other Networking Events
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with significant coursework in human resources, business or public administration or a related field.
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.

- Ability to demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior and personal integrity with a positive and pro-active communication style with peers and colleagues.
- Ability to learn current EEO rules, federal regulations and laws related to recruitment and applicant selection.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, and to establish rapport with Board employees and applicants of diverse backgrounds and training.
