Job Overview

As a Land & Facilities Manager in the Commercial Development department, you will be responsible for leading development, construction, property management, asset management, property condition assessments and inspections of new and existing commercial properties.  You will be in a dynamic position that will challenge you to bring innovative thoughts and ideas to the Commercial Development department.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist the Assistant Vice President in the commercial development and asset management of real property.
  • Implements Commercial Development initiatives related to the development and redevelopment of facilities, leasing opportunities, facility utilization, and other commercial development projects.
  • Responsible for the overall property management financial and operational management of commercial real property.
  • Coordinates all aspects of development and asset management, including market studies, planning and engineering consultants for infrastructure and site development, property assessments and inspections, and execution of construction-related activities.
  • Performs financial analyses of development and redevelopment opportunities including cost/benefit analysis, present and future value calculations and development pro forma.
  • Develops pro-active budget needs for property development and asset management, including the engagement of professional services consultants.
  • Provides business review of contracts, permits, lease and reimbursement agreements, licenses and department documents related to such commercial development.
  • Assists in managing the development of income and expense projections, land and facilities planning, design standards, selection of tenants, capital, as well as financial management analysis and marketing.

What you need:

•     Bachelor's degree in business, real estate or related field.

•     Five (5) years of experience in real estate development, marketing, planning, or property management Two (2) years of supervisory experience.

•     Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.

•     Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
