Employees become eligible for longevity pay after completing one full year of service as a regular full-time employee by the end of the fiscal year. Our Board embraces a pay-for-performance philosophy, rewarding employees for their contributions to the Airport’s success. Merit increases or lump-sum awards are determined based on individual performance.

To help you maximize your savings, DFW matches employee contributions up to 7%. Overview of our Wellness Program

At DFW Airport, we foster a culture of holistic well-being, helping employees lead balanced, healthy, and energetic lives at work and home. 
  • Physical Health: Employees enjoy free access to our state-of-the-art LiveWell Center and satellite locations, featuring weights, cardio equipment, group exercise classes, and more. An onsite health clinic offers primary and urgent care, immunizations, and other services. 
  • Emotional Health: We provide resources to support employees and their families in managing life’s challenges. 
  • Financial Health: Our financial wellness programs offer education and resources to help employees plan for every stage of their financial journey, including retirement.

DFW Airport’s Wellness Incentive Program

To encourage healthy behavior, the Airport offers a Wellness Incentive Program where employees can earn up to three additional days’ pay each year. Of all eligible employees at the Airport, 95 percent of all eligible employees continuously earn one extra day of pay each year by participating in the wellness program.
